How we ended up here.

A short version of a very new love story: one Bumble match, eleven days of phone calls, and a Durga Puja prayer that turned out to be answered.

    A match during Durga Puja

    We matched on Bumble in October, right in the middle of Durga Puja. Purnanga had just been to a mandap, praying for help to find a life partner and show him the way in love.

    Eleven days on the phone

    We talked for eleven days straight before we met in person at Bira Taproom in Koramangala. Somewhere between late-night calls and that first evening together, we both knew this was different.

  3. 2026

    A wedding in December

    One year after that first match, we are getting married in Assam. The same festival that brought us together still feels like a sign.
