Juroon is in Jorhat; the wedding itself is at the bride's residence in Jorhat too. We will travel together from Dibrugarh on the wedding day — the groom's friends are taking a party bus. Expect a long night of rituals that run into the early hours of 13 December.
Event 01
We sign the papers and make it official with the authorities before the celebrations begin.
Event 02
A relaxed evening with the bride and groom, an Assamese gathering of friends, family and plenty of laughter. The venue is surrounded by trees, so think enchanted forest — florals, greens and a little magic.
Open day
A deliberately empty slot. Sleep in, catch up on remote work, explore Upper Assam, or simply chill. You are very welcome to drop by the groom's home too.

Juroon is the bride's family blessing ceremony. The elders offer gifts, prayers and good wishes before she leaves her childhood home. Outstation friends are warmly welcome.
Open day
If you are not going to the bride's home for Juroon, 11 December is free. Use it to explore, work remotely, or relax. You are always welcome at the groom's home.

An intimate evening at the groom's home where family and close friends gather to welcome the new chapter.
Event 05
In Assamese tradition, the wedding rituals happen at the bride's home. We will travel together from Dibrugarh to Jorhat — a three-hour road trip through Upper Assam. The groom's friends will be on a party bus, and everyone is welcome to join the convoy. The ceremony will run through the night and into the early hours of 13 December.
Event 06
A final evening of music, food and dancing to celebrate with everyone who has travelled to be with us.
