Getting here

Travel & stay.

A short guide for guests coming from out of town. Events are split between Jorhat (Juroon and the wedding) and Dibrugarh (the rest). Accommodation details are still being finalised and we will share them as soon as they are confirmed. If any of this is confusing, please just write to us.

01

By air

Dibrugarh Mohanbari (DIB) and Jorhat Rowriah (JRH) both have direct flights from Delhi, Kolkata and Guwahati. Dibrugarh is the larger airport with more connections. Jorhat is closer to the Juroon morning.

02

By train

Dibrugarh Town (DBRT) and New Tinsukia (NTSK) are the main stations for the groom's side events. Jorhat Town (JTTN) is closest to the bride's residence. The Rajdhani, Brahmaputra Mail and Kamrup Express all stop here.

03

By road

Jorhat and Dibrugarh are about 140 km apart — roughly 3 hours on NH-37. On the wedding day, we are turning the drive into a party bus convoy for the groom's friends, with pit stops, music and plenty of chai.

Weather & packing

December in Upper Assam is cool and pleasant — mornings can be misty (12–16°C) and afternoons warm and sunny (24–27°C). Pack a light shawl or jacket for evenings, and an umbrella just in case.
